Unionville
Unionville is a perfect blend of the past and the present, with

The origins of the village the back to 1794 when a group of settlers
of German origin settled along the banks of the Rouge River in Markham.
In 1854, the village was officially named Unionville, possibly
in honour of the Act of Union of 1841 uniting Upper and Lower Canada.
